While working on a church project on the west coast several years ago, I met a physicist on the Los Angeles to Philly flight who had been “let go” from a research facility that I won’t name. He learned I was a writer interested in ancient advanced technologies. He told me without telling me why so much money was being spent on building the supercollider. He told me by asking me questions that I could only answer one way. After an hour of this cat and mouse discussion, he led me to his point, without having officially told me his point. If he is correct, the supercolliders were built for reasons in addition to their stated goal of pure research. They were built for profit and power. The scientists are trying to re-create a super heavy element that is completely stable and practically indestructible. They believe that they have to get past the creation of many successive unstable heavy elements until they figure out a process that uses enough energy to reach a threshold of stability. The reason they are working so hard on creating this element is because they already have a sample. It came from space. But it’s origin was Earth.
That’s what I was told without being told..
