Sorry about yesterday. The hospital project getting canceled by the Tanzanian Government was a kick in the teeth. Maybe we will find another site in one of the other countries. Maybe that is why this site was blocked. God has a habit of taking disasters and turning them to His advantage. I will let you know as soon as that happens.
I mentioned the day before yesterday that according to Plato Atlantis was as large as Asia and ancient Libya. He then talked about the ten nations comprising Atlantis. They were distinct nations with their own governments. Plato was going to describe them in detail but wrote that it was too tiresome. I think the information probably already existed elsewhere and he assumed there was no need for him to duplicate the information.
Here is a list of the ten nations of Atlantis and where I think they might have existed.
I placed them where I did based on the calculated assumption that the oceans were 800 feet lower and the earth was tilted about 25 degrees off its present axis. I have maps of Antarctica Istudied and evidence to support the pole shift that I collected in the field. I used the old names of rivers and mountains to locate some of the countries. I cross compared myths and oral histories to locate others. A few I just plain guessed at.
Here is a globe I drew on an old version of AutoCad before Google Earth existed. I put the countries on it and added some cities that appear in Second Sight. The only city I feel certain about in terms of size and location is the Capitol of Atlantis, Poseidon. I call it Payahdon in the novel.
This shows Central America as it probably looked in 11,000 BC. Here are other images of the globe as I rotated and rendered views of the Atlantic and the European/African regions:
The last map includes nations that were not part of Atlantis. (The ones in yellow.) I got those names from Studying the historian Josephus.
If you are into this kind of research, I suggest you get a copy of Josephus and study these maps. I will post tomorrow and go over the ten countries and try to explain why I put them where I did.
Thanks for reading. If you are an aspiring writer, get back to your manuscript!
